Our Services
Our Founder
Helene Laville Fiorucci is the founding manager of HEFIP, LLC.
She is a qualified European and French patent attorney, as well as a US patent agent. She started her career in IP Law in 2003.
Her personal patent practice emphasizes Chemistry, Biotechnologies & Pharmacy, including batteries, antibodies, catalysts and recycling processes. She has wide-ranging experience in both Organic & Inorganic Chemistry involving polymers, small molecules, pharmaceuticals, and minerals.
She has worked both in private practice and in-house for a number of years and has an extensive experience in drafting agreements, including license agreements and research agreements.
In 2024, Helene joined the team of IP experts at ALATIS (operating from Paris and Geneva as an association of IP attorneys, focused on all aspects of patent, trademark and design law).
Education
Helene received a scientific degree in Pharmacology/Molecular Biology from Polytech Sophia Nice in 2002, then a law degree in Patent, Trademark and Design Laws from the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) in Strasbourg, in 2003. She successfully passed the European Qualifying Examination from the European Patent Office (EPO), the French Qualifying Examination from the French Patent Office (INPI) and the US Patent Bar from the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
